My experience with Mckinney village has gone wonderful, Sandra the leasing manager is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made the application process go super smooth and easy. I'm really excited to be part of the community there . And shout out to Sandra for being the best .

10-19-23 Apparently there's a character limit so I can't leave the entire review. It should start here, if I can't type the whole thing. Sandra, the Property Manager, was nice & extremely understanding of everything we discussed with her & was happy to explain, in detail, what our move in requirements would be. She gave us the tour of the exact apartment we'd be leasing. This, in itself, was already a huge plus as almost every apartment complex we've ever toured, never has the one we find online & want to look at ready. Coincidence? Maybe. Nonetheless, so far so good. We made it back to the office only to find out the office phones & internet were on the fritz. Sandra was so apologetic the entire time & never made us feel like we were contributing to any frustration she might be feeling. She helped as much as she could. We decided to leave knowing we'd found the right place & went home to begin the application process. Unfortunately, whatever issues they were having weren't allowing us to complete the application process & we couldn't call because their phones were still down too. We headed back for help. This happened 3 times throughout the day. Luckily, we only lived a few minutes away so, it wasn't too awful. The awful part was some of the issues we thought were resolved on our end weren't which made everything 100 times more difficult. Well, here's the part I've been coming to. Sandra did absolutely everything in her power all day to help us. She used her own phone to call & email people on our behalf. She prioritized us above everything else. I'm a disabled person & things like this are difficult for me to handle, but she continued to do her best to help us & make sure I was ok. By the end of the day, it seemed as though the challenges we weren't able to resolve before applying were going to prevent a move in regardless of the fact that with Sandra's help & kindness it just didn't seem like it was going to happen for us. We left feeling defeated & scared we might not get a place before Sunday. Well, I can't remember if it was the next day or the next couple of days, but we got emails & calls from Sandra with the great news that we got approved. She went above & beyond for us from the moment we met & continued to do so until she got us approved to move in. She could've easily gone on to the next applicant, someone without any issues, but she didn't. She helped us & we are so grateful. She is an absolute asset to her job position & to this apartment company. She is the epitome of perfect customer service from start to finish. Any future customer service training videos that might get made should have her starring in them because she's someone that a lot of people can learn from. Everything she did & said was genuine. Whomever in the company that reads these reviews please know that she deserves a raise or a fancy party, a high dollar gift certificate, something to show her she's being recognized. She deserves all of it & more. I'd like to mention Amy as well. She's also super sweet & nice & has helped us since we moved in. The leasing company also gets a thank you since it was ultimately their decision to give us a chance. Oh! Willie, the lead maintenance guy is also an absolute sweetheart. He's always friendly & seemingly happy to be at work & that's always a good thing. We absolutely love our apartment, the neighborhood is great & all of our neighbors are super nice. My service dog has been a big hit with everyone & our grandkids love it here too & want to stay here every time they visit. Hopefully, we'll get to live here for a long time.

We have loved our stay in McKinney Village and would encourage anyone to move here. The office staff is so helpful and kind, and we love our apartment space! The office staff is engaging and gracious! The apartment complex is safe and homey all at the same time.

From the first interaction in our apartment search to anything we ever needed since we moved in 2 months ago, Sandra and her team have always been ready and available to assist with a sense of urgency that we really admire and appreciate. Any maintenance needs were taken care of right away. We have lived in many different apartment complexes and we have never experienced such friendly and available and approachable team and management, specifically Sandra the manager. Right away she knew our names every time she saw us, never treated us like just an apartment number. Anything we needed, she personally followed up on the issue and followed up with us via phone or email. Thank you so much!

After the property riser room next to my apartment burst on Christmas Eve a the neighbor upstairs pipes burst I was asked to leave a find somewhere else to live. I was also told my insurance was to pay for this because again they riser room pipe burst on Christmas Eve. This riser room has been an issue from the last few years from what I gathered from reaching the property. Every freeze they are on a fire watch rather than fix the issue. The regional to not talk to you only relay responses from an HR manger a this is a whom the property manger advised this is from where her decisions come from HR. I feel that they should take ownership of property damages to the renters belongings if the cause of the problem is from they property malfunction such as a riser room that has had the same issue multiple years in a row. Yes I’m seek legal so if anyone knows anyone let me know. Again apartment was beautiful but lack of property accountability for their neglect of maintaining they riser room an elevator that’s always an issue.

I have lived at McKinney Village for almost 4 years. Overall it has been a place to call home. However, things to note if thinking about moving here... (1) Endure the stanch of pot smell every day. There is nothing the office can do about it. Add Air Fresheners? I had four spray units in every corner of apartment but nothing worked. (2) Expect any visitors you invite over, no matter what time of day or night, to park WAY AWAY from your unit. Most likely you will have to go out and meet them to let them inside. Yes, there is towing enforced. Yes they have to register each time. But.. the same visitor is only allowed to register 7 times in a row. After that they are not allowed to park on property for one whole day. (3) Building 2 is never as clean as Building 1~ which is most likely the building you will be shown when touring. So make sure to ask to see the ACTUAL unit you will be staying in instead of the model. Makes it more realistic. (4) Best advice ~ when ordering from Amazon use the Amazon locker at 7-11. It makes your life easier. I wish you all the best on your move.

I moved in last month from another state due to a new job. Ms. Ryanne and the office staff have been beyond kind/helpful. The area is clean and quiet. The maintenance workers are quick and efficient. I feel I made a great choice in finding my new apartment.
